Title: Nudes (T1xC6) [2]
Role: Music score and sound design.
I had the opportunity to participate in the series “Nudes” of 3Cat, produced by Vertigo Films, and the chapters where I worked were directed by Carlos Villafaina. I contributed in the composition of the soundtrack, where I was in charge of composing both diegetic and extradiegetic music, according to the director’s indications.
My goal was to maintain tonal coherence with the context of each scene, supporting the meaning and visual narrative of the series. Here I worked on the ending of the serie, where the protagonist’s truth is about to be revealed.
The director’s guidelines were to create a piece with a hard, festive and wild character as the protagonist celebrates winning an award. In this piece, I had to consider the sound design in the space of a car and then in an outdoor space.
In addition, the piece that is played in the car is in the background when the protagonist is called by phone, where we wanted to work on the climax before the protagonist gets out of the car.
